Pioneering Taiwan’s First Commercial-Scale T-REC Transaction

In 2019, W Renewables led a landmark transaction in collaboration with the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) and one of the world’s leading consumer electronics companies. In partnership with Wan Ja Shan’s rooftop solar system, we achieved Taiwan’s first commercial-scale T-REC transaction — a milestone connecting global renewable demand with local generation. This achievement not only opened a new chapter for Taiwan’s renewable energy market, but also established a lasting benchmark for REC development and long-term renewable energy goals.
